About
"Porträt intensiv!" is a two-day workshop for adults offering hands-on practice in classical portrait drawing and painting. Art historian Henrik Engel introduces the special exhibition at the Gemäldegalerie, where portraits are combined into surprising pairs ranging from the Old Masters to Classical Modernism. Under the guidance of artist Birgit Bellmann, participants create sketches before originals and studies of a model from different angles. The workshop suits beginners and advanced participants alike, and all materials are provided.
