Down to Earth

"Down to Earth" is a benefit concert in the Studiosaal featuring songs and chamber music about people and nature. Behind the concert is the society of friends and supporters of the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, whose proceeds help students. The song duo of Lars Conrad (baritone) and Daniel Prinz (piano) performs Schubert songs and Ravel's "Histoires naturelles", while Diana Tishchenko and José Gallardo perform, among other works, Fazıl Say's violin sonata "Mount Ida", written to protest the destruction of the Ida mountains. Admission is free, donations are welcome, and registration by email is possible.
