About

Drumroll – Maurizio Cattelan at the Neue Nationalgalerie (in English) is a guided tour in English through the exhibition "Night" by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan at the Neue Nationalgalerie. The museum presents his first major solo exhibition in Germany there, combining landmark works with new pieces inside the famous building by Mies van der Rohe. Participants look at sculptures, installations and conceptual works that pair sharp humour with bitter seriousness, and explore their connections to literature, history and politics. Cattelan, born in Padua in 1960, was selected for the 2026 Nationalgalerie Prize.
