About

This is a public short introduction of about 20 minutes to the art of Maurizio Cattelan. It is offered by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin as part of the exhibition "Maurizio Cattelan. NIGHT. Preis der Nationalgalerie 2026". The introduction explains who Cattelan is, how he questions reality, and what characterizes the aesthetic of "comic existentialism". It is free with a valid exhibition ticket, registration is recommended, and the meeting point is the Obere Halle.
