Emil und die Detektive
About
The film 'Emil und die Detektive' is being shown, a new adaptation of the classic by Erich Kästner. Directed by David Dietl from a screenplay by Antonia Scheuerlen, it stars Nicholas Jonah Peter, Merlin Sandmeyer and Lara Toni Lüdders. Emil is meant to spend his summer holidays with his grandmother in Berlin, but on the train journey he is robbed of his money by the cunning swindler Max Grundeis. Instead of giving up, he sets off in pursuit and joins forces with a group of Berlin children for a turbulent chase through the city's streets.
