European Arthouse Cinema Day: films and open dialogue.

The European Arthouse Cinema Day is a day shared by independent cinemas across Europe and beyond, dedicated to honouring and defending arthouse cinema as a place of artistic freedom and democratic dialogue. It is organised by the CICAE – International Confederation of Arthouse Cinemas – which invites audiences for the eleventh time. Screenings, discussions and special events bring cinemas and their audiences together. The day stands up for cultural diversity, freedom of expression and spaces where voices from different countries and cultures can be discovered.
