About
A civic engagement excursion to KulturMarktHalle with a tour of the site, its history and today's activities, followed by a film screening and a panel discussion. It is organized by the civic engagement office of Bard College Berlin; the film shown is „Mein Berlin - Ein Ort mit Gedächtnis“ (with English subtitles), portraying how six Jewish people experienced the city of Berlin in 2025. After the screening, the film's director and the spokesperson on antisemitism and antidiscrimination in Pankow will hold a discussion. The screening and panel mark the anniversary of the 9 November 1938 pogroms against Jewish people in Germany and Austria.
