Französische Filmwoche: fresh French cinema.

Französische Filmwoche 2026 is a festival presenting 26 hand-picked films from current French and francophone cinema, ahead of their official release in Germany. It is the 26th edition and takes place at the Filmtheater am Friedrichshain as well as Cinema Paris, Passage and Kino International. At its centre are people driven by big dreams and ambitions, who find the courage to fight for their visions and reinvent themselves, even if they sometimes lose themselves along the way. Numerous directors will present their new films in person in Berlin.
