About
„Маша и Мишка“ is a children's musical stage piece with piano music by Dmitri Shostakovich, performed in German for children aged 4 1/2 and up and their adults. The idea and text are by Claudia Maria Franck; Elena Bregman plays the piano and transforms into a music fairy during the piece. It tells of the teddy bear Mischka and the doll Mascha, who meet on a dusty attic and set out on a journey across the sea after enviers and troublemakers make their life difficult. The grand piano becomes a ship, strange islands appear, and Claudia Franck plays, tells the story and entices the children to join in and dance along.
