About
Fabian. Der Gang vor die Hunde is a stage version of Erich Kästner's big-city novel from 1933, performed at RambaZamba Theater. It follows the unemployed advertising man Fabian, who finds himself in a metropolis of political radicalisation and moral decay and becomes a mere observer. Rather than let him stumble through the city alone, a group of outsiders discusses morality, empathy and resistance in today's crises through texts of their own, drag-show elements and the pounding beats of the house band 21 downbeat. Performers include Sebastian Brandes, Judy LaDivina and a live band with Selma Enoka Ayemba, Marcell Fabian, Vincent Köhler and Leo Solter.
