About
"Sonne und Beton" is a mobile theatre production by DT jung* of the Deutsches Theater, based on the novel by Felix Lobrecht and directed by Karsten Dahlem. It follows 16-year-old Lukas, who during a summer between high-rise housing estates in Berlin-Gropiusstadt becomes entangled in a conflict between dealer groups and, with friends, attempts an impulsive theft. The play deals with coming of age, money troubles and friendship, told with humour, grit and emotion. On this day it is performed as a guest show at the Pestalozzi-Fröbel Haus and is followed by a discussion on site.
