About
The „Festival Opening“ is the opening of the INTERFILM 42 festival, whose 42nd edition runs under the title „Shared Shores“ and shows short films. It is organised by INTERFILM, which each year presents more than 350 short films together with KUKI in over 60 programmes, events, workshops and case studies. Its 42nd edition asks what remains shared when we strip away everything constructed: struggles, emotions, wishes and fears that reveal parallels, connections and symmetry between us. Only in combining different perspectives and contradictory narratives does it find kinship in opposition, solidarity in difference and togetherness in contrast.
