INTERFILM 42. Internationales Kurzfilmfestival Berlin is Berlin's largest and oldest short film festival, showing short films from around the world at the cinema at Rollbergstraße 70 in Neukölln. Behind it is the festival's 42nd edition under the title Shared Shores, which invites audiences to read the border differently: as a shared shore, a place of transitions, departures and encounters. Its programmes follow the tides of resistance and memory and tell of those who are pushed to the margin and dare to look beyond it. It asks how solidarity grows between estranged places and people, and how we find connection not despite, but because of our differences.
