About
The Festival Orchester Berlin performs a concert of works by Antonio Vivaldi, centred on his “Four Seasons” of 1725 – four violin concertos that bring nature, animals and human moods through the changing seasons vividly to life in sound. The multicultural ensemble of musicians from leading European orchestras has been delighting audiences for 30 years and devotes these annual concerts to the Venetian master Vivaldi. The programme is complemented by further highlights for violin and chamber orchestra by well-known composers. The music is played on historical Italian instruments for a particularly warm and authentic sound.
