About
UNDER BERLIN FILM FESTIVAL is the Berlin edition of the Transterritorial Underground Film Festival, showing underground films that rarely find a place in commercial cinema. Behind the independent, non-profit initiative is a small volunteer team led artistically by Peri Azar / Bies Culture, produced by the Festival Transterritorial de Cine Underground. The 2026 programme brings together 16 films from 15 countries in different programme blocks dealing with grief, binarity and human experiences that often remain invisible. All films are shown in their original language with English subtitles, followed by conversation, bread and a shared toast on site.
