About
A guided tour of the exhibition "Um|Benennen – Neukölln und seine Straßennamen" at Museum Neukölln. Museum director Dr. Matthias Henkel shows how political, social and cultural developments are reflected in public space. Street names shape everyday orientation and express a historical culture of remembrance; who becomes visible in the streetscape is the result of societal negotiations. The tour conveys the history of Neukölln from a new perspective.
