About

"Gartenfest - In meinem Garten bin ich Kapitän" is a scenic cabaret with music at Stadttheater Köpenick. It stars Dagmar Jaeger and Michael Nitzel, who both spent over 30 years as cabaret performers at the Distel and have met again here. Music and direction are by Bernd Wefelmeyer, with texts by Inge Ristock and Peter Ensikat. The cabaret artists compare their attempt to improve the world to meteorologists and the weather: they cannot change it, but in cabaret everyone can at least laugh together.
