Gedenken der Reichspogromnacht
Matthäuskirche, Schloßstraße 44, 12165 Berlin, Steglitz
About
A memorial service is held at the Matthäuskirche in remembrance of the November pogroms. The congregation recalls that on 9 November 1938 synagogues, Jewish cemeteries and shops across Germany were plundered and destroyed. Discrimination against Jewish people thereby turned into systematic persecution and annihilation. During the service, those persecuted and murdered are commemorated.
