Novemberkonzert as an open dress rehearsal with Schnittke.

An open dress rehearsal of the Novemberkonzert, in which the evening programme is played in concert order; as a rehearsal, it may include interruptions and repetitions. Performing are Kyungsik Shin on viola and the Symphonieorchester der UdK Berlin conducted by Massimo Zanetti. The programme features Mozart's overture to „Le Nozze di Figaro“, Alfred Schnittke's 1985 concerto for viola and orchestra, and a selection from Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet suites. With these three works, the orchestra of the Berlin University of the Arts combines pieces in which delicate detail and sonic force meet in surprising ways.
