November Concert: Mozart, Schnittke and Prokofiev.

The November Concert is a symphony concert by the symphony orchestra of the Berlin University of the Arts. Under the baton of Massimo Zanetti, the orchestra performs Mozart's overture to "The Marriage of Figaro", Alfred Schnittke's viola concerto with soloist Kyungsik Shin, and a selection from Sergei Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet suites. The three works combine filigree passages with sonic power; the 1985 viola concerto continues romantic expressiveness in an unusual way. Admission is free, donations are requested.
