Geographies of Collectivity: feminist winter school.
About
"Geographies of Collectivity: Berlin-Yerevan-Tbilisi" is a project comprising a winter school, workshops, an excursion, presentations and a round table that connects interdisciplinary practices of feminist collectives from Berlin, Yerevan and Tbilisi. Behind it are alpha nova & galerie futura together with FemLibrary from Yerevan, a queerfeminist library and collective space, and PlazmPlatform from Tbilisi, an independent space for contemporary dance, performance and experimental music. The project aims to deepen and strengthen feminist infrastructures that cross national borders and rest on solidaristic practices, creating spaces for encounter, resilience and care as a resistant response to the growing influence of right-wing reactionary forces, which particularly affects FLINTA people. On 17 November the winter school opens: the venue, the invited guests and all participants introduce themselves and begin an exchange, brainstorming how feminist organising changes depending on context and what feminist and queer infrastructures exist in the Caucasus and the post-Soviet space and how they are entangled with Berlin.
