Geschwisterliederleben

A lieder recital titled „Geschwisterliederleben“ at the Pierre Boulez Saal. Mezzo-soprano Susan Zarrabi, an ensemble member at the Komische Oper Berlin, and her brother Sascha Zarrabi, currently engaged at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, perform together with pianist Gerold Huber. The program is devoted to famous musical sibling pairs between tender affection and rivalry. The inspiration comes from the teasing nicknames Maria Anna „Nannerl“ Mozart gave her brother Wolfgang, showing that even among loving siblings things are not always rosy.
