SUSAN ZARRABI, SASCHA ZARRABI & GEROLD HUBER

The concert "Geschwisterliederleben" brings songs and duets by famous musical siblings to the Pierre Boulez Saal, moving between affection and rivalry. The brother and sister Susan Zarrabi, a mezzo-soprano at the Komische Oper Berlin, and Sascha Zarrabi, a tenor at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, perform together with the pianist Gerold Huber. The program features songs and duets by, among others, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Fanny Hensel, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and Nadia and Lili Boulanger. Even Nannerl Mozart's nicknames for her brother Wolfgang show that sibling life is not always harmonious.
