»ICH BIN BULGARE?!« is a one-woman show mixing theatre and stand-up, a fast-paced musical investigation of the concept of »Heimat« (home). It is created and performed by actress Vidina Popov, with live music by Mark Badur. She weaves together interviews, documentaries and encounters, asking about the loss of home, the clichés attached to it and the experiences in a new place. With biting humour she shows how assumptions about others and oneself can be deceptive.
