About
A reading programme of the transnational MEDUSA Festival Berlin in the Roter Salon at the Volksbühne. It presents texts by the Bulgarian author Silva Marinova and the Italian Tatjana Motta, read by Eddy Barroso, Barbara Behrendt, Anton Berman and Aylin Esener, directed by Marie Bues. Marinova's science-fiction play ДЕБЕЛАКЪТ (FETTSACK) follows a writer couple travelling to a slimming clinic on the Moon in the year 2125, while Motta's Notte Bianca (Lange Nacht) accompanies a tourist couple in a city in transition, dealing with migration and belonging. Afterwards there is an audience talk with the authors and the translator Henrieke Markert.
