About
Artists' talks taking place as part of the exhibition “Women support Women – 100 Jahre GEDOK”. Fifteen artists of GEDOK Berlin, selected by a jury, have created new works especially for the project, spanning painting, photography, video, installation, performance and sculpture. In the talks they explore the history of the association, which was founded in 1926 by Ida Dehmel, and ask about forms of solidarity and visibility among women artists. At the GEDOK gallery, the creation and development processes of the contemporary works are set in relation to the association's history.
