"In 60 Minuten durch die BerlinZEIT" is a guided tour through the permanent exhibition "BerlinZEIT" at the Ephraim-Palais in the Nikolaiviertel. Along original objects, digital media stations and large-scale models, the one-hour tour covers 800 years of Berlin's history. The tour sheds light on Berlin quirks and peculiarities from the city's founding to today, answering questions such as why many Berliners actually came from Cölln or where the saying about the "Retourkutsche" comes from. Along the way, participants encounter Berlin's oldest domestic pig skeleton, the "Alter Fritz" and the artist duo Christo and Jeanne-Claude.
