About
„Weltpolitik und Berliner Schloss“ is a themed tour through the Humboldt Forum exploring colonial traces in the reconstructed Berlin Palace. The roughly 60-minute tour examines the palace's political and cultural role since the 16th century and shows how, under Kaiser Wilhelm II, the claim to world politics was reflected in its architecture and collections. Referencing the 1884 Berlin Africa Conference, the walk links historical objects from non-European contexts with contemporary artistic positions. It is aimed at visitors aged 16 and up, is held in German and limited to 25 participants.
