About

The vernissage opens the group exhibition “Infinity in the Void – South Asian Perspectives” at the gallery Under the Mango Tree. It brings together drawings, paintings, serigraphs and video projections by eight contemporary artists from South Asia, including Ranbir Kaleka, Anando Moy Banerjee, Nidhi Agarwal, Shehzil Malik, Saurabh Narang and Vineet Kumar. The title is inspired by Kaleka’s large work “Cul-de-Sac”, where painting and performance come together. The works consider time, transformation and the conditions through which form becomes perceptible.
