Galerie Pleiku opens the solo exhibition “Collapse” by Inari Raaterova with a vernissage. The artist, born in 1993 and working in printmaking and drawing, combines photograph-based monoprints with monochromatic works hand-printed on canvas, using rejected or found imagery alongside discarded materials such as produce netting and various plastics. Grids, nets and disorganized arrangements make up the key visual components, creating an interplay of control and chaos in which destruction, decay and worthlessness emerge. Still, beneath the stark blacks a glimmer of hope persists: a stubborn determination to find a way out before an impending, or ongoing, collapse.
