The opening reception of the INTERFILM 42 festival takes place in the Sternfoyer of the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz. Behind the festival are INTERFILM and KUKI, who together show more than 350 short films each year in over 60 programmes, events, workshops and case studies. The 42nd edition is titled „Shared Shores“ and asks what common ground remains when we shed everything constructed: shared struggles, emotions, desires and fears, kinship in opposition and solidarity in difference.
