INTERFILM42: This is not what it looks like - Bonobo Studio Experimental
ACUDkino, Veteranenstraße 21, 10119 Berlin, Mitte
About
A programme of experimental short films presented by the INTERFILM festival in Berlin. Curated by Vanja Andrijević, the programme "This Is Not What It Looks Like – Bonobostudio Experimental" brings together films in which memories disintegrate, stories are deconstructed and images begin to invent their own truth. Among them are a microcassette without a story, a Buster Keaton train scene rebuilt in an endless loop, and a glowing square recounting our present over and over. Sometimes humorous, sometimes unsettling, sometimes surreal – the familiar is twisted until something completely new emerges.
