About
The Karsten-Troyke-Trio gives a concert of old chansons and folk songs. Karsten Troyke sings in his slightly rough voice and devotes himself to orally transmitted songs, such as forgotten Yiddish songs by Sara Bialas-Tenenberg, as well as cabaret chansons and his own adaptations. He is joined by the Australian-Jewish violinist Daniel Weltlinger and the jazz bassist Martin Buhl Staustrup. The concert takes place as part of the Israel Week and is organised by the Jewish Community of the district of Oberhavel.
