Haus Schwarzenberg, Mitte

About
„Kiezlüt´unterwegs" is an outing to Berlin-Mitte that includes a visit to the Haus Schwarzenberg complex, a place where history, art and remembrance meet. It is organised by the Verein für aktive Vielfalt e.V., which invites visitors to a guided tour of Otto Weidt's workshop and a walk through the surrounding area, known as the Spandauer Vorstadt. There, participants learn more about the life and work of Otto Weidt and about the people who found shelter and support in his workshop for blind people during the Nazi era. A shared lunch is planned after the tour, and anyone not wishing to join is asked to say so when registering.
