SOKO Gartenschläfer: documentary on a species at risk.

A cinema evening featuring the documentary „SOKO Gartenschläfer“, accompanied by a talk and space for conversations. For two years, a film crew followed researchers and conservationists investigating the causes of the garden dormouse's disappearance – from nighttime tracking in the Harz National Park to genetic fingerprinting in the laboratory. The evening is hosted by BUND Landesverband Thüringen together with the nature park administration Thüringer Schiefergebirge Obere Saale and the town of Wurzbach. It is about the garden dormouse, a species threatened with extinction.
