Kira Freije. Between Sunlight is an exhibition of a group of sculptural works in the Maschinenhaus M1 at KINDL – Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst, a centre for contemporary art. It is presented by British artist Kira Freije (born 1985 in London, where she lives, nominated for this year's Turner Prize), whose figures convey a deep sense of connection while appearing absorbed in their own thoughts. Fabrics and found materials lend the scene a layered material presence, and the deliberately open narrative links leave room for one's own experiences and ideas. The exhibition is curated by Laura Smith.
