About
"Silberstreif" is an exhibition in the Projektraum at Haus am Kleistpark. Artist Daniela Friebel draws on the estate of an East German particle physicist from the early years of divided Germany. Letters and photographs trace how a young man came of age during a period of historical upheaval, while the folds, handwriting and punch holes of the papers themselves turn into carriers of images and signs that raise questions of freedom, arbitrariness and responsibility.
