About
The workshop »Klänge und Signale« is a programme for school classes in lower and upper secondary level held in a learning workshop. Participants explore with all their senses how sounds arise, spread and can be turned into signals usable for communication in space, from everyday noises to digital codes. The observatory's team acts as learning guides as students learn through hands-on trying out, asking questions and developing hypotheses together. The workshop lasts 240 minutes, is aimed at students from grade 7 upwards as well as vocational schools, and takes place with at least eight and at most 35 participants.
