About

ARS NOVA – IN TOUCH is a performance of music and dance that is created in the very moment it happens. Students of the Jazz Institut Berlin and the dance programme of the Universität der Künste Berlin explore whether improvisation might be the key to dealing with an uncertain future. Starting from original compositions by Tobija Hudnik, virtuosic soli meet collective improvisation, from which new musical and choreographic forms emerge in real time. Presented as part of Berlin Science Week and its motto "In Touch", it invites reflection on how creativity, improvisation and acting together can change society.
