About
A public tour of the Alte Nationalgalerie as part of the special presentation "Kunst über Zeiten. Gursky, Miró, Warhol & Co.". On a tour through the building, participants experience art spanning three centuries. In the anniversary year, works of the 20th and 21st centuries meet the art of the 19th century on all three floors, inviting associative viewing. The Nationalgalerie opened in 1876 as a house for contemporary art and is today the museum for the art of the long 19th century.
