About

A curator-led tour through the cabinet exhibition marking the 300th birthday of Daniel Nikolaus Chodowiecki. The Kupferstichkabinett, the Gemäldegalerie and the Academy of Arts have brought together works by the famous Berlin artist of the Enlightenment. At its centre stands his main work, „Der Abschied des Jean Calas von seiner Familie“ (1766–68). In conversation, the curators guide visitors through the exhibition and introduce the multifaceted work of the draughtsman, etcher and painter.
