About
"La Foudre au ventre" is a fantastical theatre play presented at the ACUD Theater. It is by Bernie Jolicoeur-Dugré, who also directs, and is performed by Inès Bruguier, Maddalena Cellerino, Helena Dumas, Pauline Gwet and Vitale V. Vaugin. The autofictional story follows the friends Alice and Orphée, who move to Berlin, befriend Ina and Izy, and enter the Underworld club halfway between Wonderland and Studio 54, where Alice vanishes after a timeless party night and Orphée sets out to free her from the club. Addressing escape from reality, solidarity, friendship and above all self-discovery, the play is performed in French with German surtitles.
