Las Bravas

At the Babylon cinema, the documentary film Las Bravas screens as part of the festival La Sur Real Colombia, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. The film was made by directors Diana Ojeda, Andrea Natalia Montegalegre Serrano, Juranny Loraine Garcia, Nataly Durán and Karen Martinez. It follows a collective of women who have supported their team in the Bucaramanga stadium for a decade, even though traditional fan culture prevents them from officially organizing and flying their own flag. Led by Natalia, they stand up to exclusion, harassment and violence, while Natalia fights in court to keep custody of her daughter, threatened by her political activism.
