„La Sur Real Colombia: El valor de la palabra“ is a documentary about the Arhuaco people in Colombia. Made by Marta Rodríguez and Fernando Restrepo, it shows how, amid testimonies of pain, an ancestral wisdom emerges in which the land is a living being, women are weavers of knowledge, and words are the thread that sustains the people's existence. From this comes a reflection on leadership, gender, and the responsibility of weaving the thread of life for future generations. The film is an act of resistance against colonial, religious, and military violence and structural impunity, and a lesson in what it means to defend life.
