›Lasst mich ich selbst sein.‹ Anne Franks Lebensgeschichte« in der JVA Euskirchen
Anne Frank Zentrum, Rosenthaler Straße 39, 10178 Berlin, Mitte
About
The travelling exhibition »›Lasst mich ich selbst sein.‹ Anne Franks Lebensgeschichte« is shown at Euskirchen prison; it is not open to the public. The Anne Frank Zentrum presents it there from 17 October to 5 November. The exhibition tells Anne Frank's life story and gives insights into the times she lived in, and also addresses current questions of identity, belonging and various forms of discrimination. In advance, committed inmates are trained as peer guides who accompany fellow inmates and prison staff through the exhibition, aiming to foster dialogue and reduce prejudice.
