Lena Keller – False Skies: oil landscapes.

About
An exhibition of oil paintings titled "False Skies" at a gallery in Berlin. In this new body of work, the artist Lena Keller makes the moment of seeing her starting point: transparent layers of oil paint, glazes and iridescent fields of light form landscapes in which horizons and vegetation remain present yet resist clear definition. Her paintings explore landscape not simply as a motif, but as an experience shaped by attention, memory and transformation, resisting the speed of fleeting looking and inviting a more deliberate encounter.
