About
A reading from the novel „Selbstregulierung des Herzens“ by Peggy Mädler, moderated by Claudia Johanna Bauer. The novel follows Georg, who hopes to move the state forward with early computers and cybernetics, and the artist Mona, along with Roland, a disillusioned intellectual who flees to the West, and Marlies, who tries to reform the system from within; they all meet in a village near Wandlitz, where strange secret building work soon begins. Peggy Mädler, born in 1976 in Dresden, is a freelance author and dramaturge who writes about closeness and alienation, conformity and resilience. The event takes place in cooperation with the VHS Reinickendorf as part of the series LESEZEICHEN Literatur live in Tegel.
