About
The “Library Hour” turns the university library of the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin into a place for encounters and dialogue. In the first Library Hour of the semester, Prof. Dr. Stefan Drees speaks about music by African American composers between 1880 and 1950. Twice each semester, important book and score publications from the collection take centre stage. Current topics from courses and the practice of the teaching staff are discussed.
