About
The lecture series „Verdrängte Musik-Geschichte/n. Konzepte und kulturelle Praktiken“ is a digital, cross-university series of talks in the winter semester 26/27. It is run by the Musica inaudita team at the Berlin University of the Arts and is intended as a space for networking and exchange between teachers, researchers and students from different locations. A sequence of themed evenings is planned, opening up different perspectives on writing music history, including questions of repertoire formation, visibility in exile, gender staging, media and knowledge transfer, biographical research, queerness, decolonialisation and postcolonial approaches. The series takes place weekly on Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:30; admission is free.
