Benefit concert for Ukraine.

A benefit song recital for Ukraine at the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche, devoted to homeland, loss and hope. It features singers and musicians from the National Art University of Kharkiv, the Semperoper Dresden, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler. The programme brings German and Ukrainian musical traditions together, including Heine settings by Schumann and Lyssenko and the world premiere of Serhij Bortkiewicz's „Sternflug des Herzens“ in Ukrainian. Proceeds support the National Art University of Kharkiv and the Ukraine aid project „Wheelchairs for Dignity / Dnipro“.
